So Behind the Mask: A Folded Heart has now been out for a month. I had the first book signing at the Bookcase on Friday 13th October (yes, the unlucky factor was pointed out to me repeatedly). It went well. The book's stocked at the Bookcase. I've spoken to Bookplus and they've agreed to take the book on, but I'm still wondering whether I want to go ahead with it. It's on Amazon (follow the link above) as well.
The main problem with me right now is that I'm too busy with my schoolwork to follow my book's progress thoroughly. It's highly aggravating as it could go so much further if I could just have time to focus on it. That said, I have actually been in discussions with Waterstone's (the UK's leading bookstore) about stocking it, and they've agreed. We're just finishing up the forms and such at the moment.
In other, writing-related news, my poetry can now be found at Poet's Haven and Poem Hunter. It has also been accepted into All Things Girl (Jan/Feb issue) and Because We Write. I'm currently waiting on replies from several other online poetry magazines and e-zines.
That's all for now. I must sign off and go attend to the astonishingly high pile of homework waiting for me.
Records updates on my writing -- places where it's accepted online and in print, collections and interviews.
